King Cross, in collaboration with the Croatian Federation of Felinological Societies, is organizing a Meow Weekend that cat lovers should not miss! During the Meow Weekend, the first international cat shows of the year will be held, organized by the Croatian Federation of Felinological Societies. In addition to the competition that will last both days (Saturday, March 18, and Sunday, March 19, 2023), the first national winners for 2022 will be announced at this year’s first exhibition, the most successful pedigree cats according to their placement at international exhibitions.
Numerous breeders from Croatia, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, and Romania will participate in the exhibitions, and visitors can expect more than 150 cats of 18 internationally recognized breeds and a lot of entertainment during both days.
You will also be able to see the most trophy-winning cat in the history of Croatian felinology, the British Shorthair, Grand International Champion EYE OF THE TIGER OF ROYAL ANGEL. He has often been declared the best cat in his breed, as well as the best in category and the most beautiful cat of the show. In addition to his beauty, he also has a wonderful character, according to his owner, adding that he is extremely cuddly and sociable towards other cats and people, and is a real sensation at shows, especially for children.
In addition to the most successful adult cats, the most trophy-winning cats in the neutered and kitten categories will also be declared, as well as the most successful cat breeder in 2022, whose title was won by “HUNTER’S ENIGMA” by Petra Dimić from Zagreb.
The shows in King Cross will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm, and admission is free for visitors. “Best in Show”, i.e., the announcement of the most beautiful cats of the show, will start on both days at 4:30 pm.
Cat lovers, see you at the Meow Weekend in King Cross!
