Meow Weekend is the ideal event for all cat lovers! During Meow Weekend, international cat shows organized by the Croatian Federation of Felinological Societies await you, and the culmination of both days is the “Best in Show” ceremony, during which the most beautiful cats of the show will be announced. Admission for visitors is free.
Cat shows await you at the following times:
- Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 10 am to 6 pm
- Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 10 am to 6 pm
The “Best in Show” ceremony (announcing the most beautiful cats) is scheduled for both days at 4:30 pm.
Competitors from the entire region, including Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Austria, and Italy, will present their cats at the shows – while judges from Slovenia, Switzerland, and Finland will decide on the selection of the most beautiful cats.
Among the registered cats is the current Mediterranean winner, the Bengal cat Nitro from the House of Cheetah cattery. In addition to Bengal cats, various other breeds will be represented, such as Exotic, Persian, Ragdoll, Saint Burmese, Maine Coon, British Longhair and British Shorthair, Burmese, Russian, Kurile Bobtail, Domestic Shorthair, and Selkirk Rex Longhair.
