Zagreb’s first shopping center has stood out with its innovative modern concept since its opening in 2002, and exciting innovations await it after the completion of an extensive renovation that will make it the most modern shopping destination in the city. Visitors to the center are also looking forward to the upcoming changes, showing great interest in the progress of the works and eagerly awaiting future new stores, catering facilities, and entertainment facilities.
King Cross is open as usual during the reconstruction
Center is open regularly
Currently, work is underway on the reconstruction of the southern zone of the shopping center, which is visually marked with traffic signals, allowing clear orientation for customers who can reach all stores quickly and easily. Access to favorite stores Interspar, Harvey Norman, Jysk, dm, Sport Vision, and many others is, as before, provided through the center’s middle and northern entrances. Decathlon has a separate external entrance that continues to allow for unhindered shopping for sports equipment. The first phase of the reconstruction also includes part of the parking lot on the south side, with a sufficient number of parking spaces provided in the remaining part of the parking lot. Thanks to new future traffic solutions and the most modern standards, King Cross will be even more accessible upon completion of the works in the fall of 2025.
During the reconstruction of the center, all stores are open according to regular business hours from Monday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the Interspar hypermarket from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Visitors can also view a visual representation of the future center inside the building and peek into part of the reconstruction zone through a special window pane, allowing them to be maximally involved in the transformation process of King Cross.
In the fall 2025, King Cross will become the most modern shopping center in Croatia
This reconstruction represents a milestone and transformation of King Cross into the most modern shopping center in Croatia, creating a space that will satisfy the needs of visitors for comprehensive shopping while providing diverse opportunities for spending free time. With a unique gastro zone, three different children’s play and entertainment zones, and a central square as a central meeting and socializing place, the center will certainly become a favorite destination for all generations.
Easily accessible, in a well-known location and affordable considering the single-story concept, King Cross is today particularly strong and competitive in the sports niche, with an excellent offer in the home, family, and entertainment segments, and the reconstruction will set new trends and standards for shopping centers. By combining attractive design and modern solutions, it plans to attract visitors with an even more diverse offer.
