Did you know that golf is one of the oldest sports in history? Officially, golf developed in Scotland in the 14th century, but there are many older games in different countries that preceded the development of golf. Golf is one of the few sports that has managed to preserve the distinction between professionalism and amateurism, and was introduced to the Olympic Games again in 2016. It is the most popular sport in the world, along with football and basketball.

Play mini golf for free at King Cross and win prizes. By participating, you have the chance to be one of ten lucky winners of a Spar gift card worth 200 kuna.

HOW TO PLAY MINI GOLF AT KING CROSS?

Contact the hostesses at the information desk (located on the south side of King Cross, opposite the inside entrance to Decathlon) and collect your playing equipment.

Simply place the ball in the designated area at the beginning of the course. Try to put the ball into the hole with your club in as few attempts as possible. Count the strokes for each course separately and write the number on a card under your name. At the end, count all the points and see who the winner is. The winner is the one with the fewest points.

RULES:

  • On the card you receive from the hostess, write down the number of strokes for each competitor.
  • The courses (holes) must be played in a certain order.
  • “Skipping” is not allowed.
  • When hitting the club, it is not allowed to swing more than the knee.
  • The game is limited to 7 strokes. If you do not hit the hole in 7 attempts, write down 9 points.
  • If the ball flies off the course, place it where it crossed the edge and add one extra point.
  • If the ball ends up right next to an obstacle or the edge of the course, you can move it to the side by the size of the ball before hitting it.
  • You can stand on the grass, but do not step on the edge or obstacles.
  • After the game, return the playing equipment to the hostesses at the information desk

*Children should play under the supervision of parents or guardians who are responsible for the proper handling of equipment, playgrounds, and overall safe play.

By participating, you have the opportunity to be one of ten lucky winners of a Spar gift card worth 200 kuna.

See you in King Cross!
