This attractive exhibition was open to visitors at King Cross from Friday, February 10, to Sunday, February 19, 2023, in the hallway on the north side of the center (entrance at the DM).
The exhibition display consisted of ten original photographic works that Čižmešija photographed on the streets of Zagreb exclusively for the exhibition “Zaljubljeni” (translated: In love). Fashion designer Goran Čižmešija has been creating his photographic fashion blog Style Seconds on the streets of Zagreb, as well as Paris and London, for almost two decades. He is one of the true European pioneers of street style photography who was among the first to recognize the importance of street fashion on fashion trends in the digital age. The couples in Čižmešija’s lens are special, colorful, playful, harmonious, and enamored with fashion and life. Being in Goran’s photography is a privilege since he is not just a photographer. He is a curator who, by selecting models on the streets, creates a special collection of fashion photography and documents of a time.
Visitors also had the opportunity to stand in front of Goran’s camera. On King Cross’s social networks, you could participate in the “In Love” contest. The main prize was a professional couples photo by Goran Čižmešija. All that was needed was to tag your partner in the comments below the posts about the “In Love” contest, write the most beautiful love message, and wait and see if she was the one chosen. Two consolation prizes were a “Spar” gift card worth 26.54 EUR/200.00 kn. The contest began on Friday, February 10, 2023.
As a part of the exhibition, there was also a specially decorated “In Love” photo corner. A beautiful golden circular installation decorated with flowers suggests the wholeness and perfection of Love and is the perfect backdrop for your memories this Valentine’s Day.
