This Rulebook regulates the bringing, movement, and stay of pets and other animals within the premises of the King Cross shopping center (hereinafter referred to as: the Center), including its parking areas, green spaces, and all surrounding areas.

ARTICLE 2
The Animal Protection Act (Narodne novine 135/2006, 37/2013, 125/2013) defines a “pet” as: “An animal kept by humans for companionship, protection, assistance, or due to interest in such animals.” The term “animal” refers to all other animals that do not fall under the definition of pets.

The owner must be of legal age and is legally responsible for their pet.

ARTICLE 5
Pet owners must behave responsibly toward visitors, staff members, Center representatives, employees of shops, hospitality and service establishments, as well as contractors working within the Center, and toward their own pet, which must be under the owner’s constant supervision. Responsible behavior means that pet owners must not allow their pets to disturb, frighten, cause discomfort, or endanger individuals within the Center.

The Center bears no liability for any damage or expenses incurred during the pet owner’s stay in the leased premises.

ARTICLE 15
If the owner fails to comply with the Center’s house rules, the clearly defined conditions of this Rulebook, or other applicable laws on animal protection, veterinary medicine, nature conservation, and public order, Center personnel have the right to assess compliance and may ask the owner to leave the Center, which they must do immediately.

An owner may also be asked to leave the Center if their pet:
