This Saturday and Sunday (November 11th and 12th, 2023) – as part of the “Home & Tech Weekend” in King Cross, little ones will be able to participate in free creativity and technology workshops that will be held in the space near Mini Lollipop (middle entrance to King Cross) at the following times:

  • Saturday, November, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Sunday, November 12th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

The workshops will give children the opportunity to enter the world of programming, design, and creativity. Discover how even preschoolers can dive into the world of programming with simple mouse control and learning basic directions. Give your children the opportunity to compete in an exciting robot race, setting obstacles on the track. For those who love design, we have prepared a workshop where teams of children will create designs for children’s bedrooms, bathrooms, and living rooms together, using technology.

At the workshops, children can expect:

  • Robot Kodi and Smart Drawing – children will have the opportunity to meet the robot Kodi, who loves to draw. Children will learn how to prepare the robot for work and create beautiful drawings with it.
  • Mouse Programmer – With Mouse Programmer, children will learn the concepts of left, right, up, and down. In this workshop, they will program the Mouse to direct it in the desired direction. This is a great opportunity for children to get involved in the basics of programming.
  • Robot Race – In this fun workshop, children will compete in a robot race. Two robots will move around the same polygon, and children will program them to create strategies for victory. They will be able to set obstacles to make the challenge greater.
  • Room Design on Tablets – Children will feel like real designers in this workshop. Using technology, teams will design children’s bedrooms, bathrooms, and living rooms together. This is an opportunity for creative expression and collaboration.
  • Room by Room, House – After creating their own interiors, children will have the opportunity to decorate a real wooden house. They will use different furniture and creatively decorate the rooms, choosing curtains, blanket colors, pillowcases, decorative pillows, rugs, wallpaper, and much more.
  • Magnetic Blocks for the Youngest – Even the youngest visitors will be involved in the event theme using magnetic blocks. In this workshop, with the help of animators, the youngest will design different shapes and develop their creative abilities.
